One-Piece & Modular Tanks

We offer a wide range of water storage tanks suitable for storing potable (drinking) water, rain water non-aggressive chemicals and other inert substances.  Our tanks are primarily used for mains cold water storage, but other uses include break and header tanks, grey water storage, within fire sprinkler systems and more.

All of our tanks are moulded and laminated by hand using high quality WRAS approved materials.  Integral steel frames are built into the larger tanks to provide maximum support and to minimize deflection to the tank walls when under full load.

Our one-piece tanks (standard ‘S’ range) start from a 43 litre capacity in the loft range, up to our larger 4900 litres tanks. There are over 40 standard tank sizes to choose from.  Please consult the PDF below for further sizing information.

One piece tanks

Our duplex tanks (‘D’ range) are fabricated in two halves, then bonded together to provide a larger capacity one piece tank, with a smaller plan area.  Our duplex tanks range in size from 620 litres capacity right up to nearly 10,000 litres capacity, with over 35 sizes to choose from.

Duplex tanks

We also offer a wide range of modular section GRP water tanks (‘MS’ range), supplied as either 2-piece or 3 piece units.  These cisterns are moulded into sections with horizontal joints by our experts and laminated to our usual standards. These tanks are particularly suitable when a larger capacity is required, but access may be restricted. All necessary sealants, fixings and instructions are supplied with the tanks for easy on-site assembly by the customer.

Modular section tanks

If your preferred tank size or capacity is not shown, please contact us for pricing and further information on our fabricated tanks.  We can easily build a tank to meet your preferred dimensions and / or capacity, with a competitive price to match.

Additional information:

  • Heavy-duty lids are included as standard, along with a manway access hatch (on tanks offering 1000 litres + capacity) and filtered vent for each compartment.
  • All of our tanks are offered with 25mm thick insulation as standard, which is encapsulated within the main structure of each tank.  Un-insulated tanks or tanks with 50mm and 75mm are also available.
  • All tanks are fabricated using WRAS approved materials and built to BS EN 13280:2001 standards.
  • All of our tanks comply with relevant British Standards and Water Regulations.
  • Prepared alleviations are incorporated into the tank at time of manufacture to suit your required connection locations.
  • Partitions can be fitted to the tanks if compartments are required.
  • Our tanks are finished in our standard external colour of BS 16-C-33 (Narwick), also known as duck egg blue.  All BS or RAL colours are available on a request basis if there is a colour preference.
  • Our standard tanks will contain water up to 40 degrees Celsius, although they will stand occasional higher temperatures (therefore suitable for feed and expansion applications).
  • Our tanks can be sited directly onto prepared concrete bases or plywood pads (subject to conforming to the relevant specification) which must remain flat and level when under full load.
  • A wide range of connections and ancillary items for our tanks are available, including ball valve boxes, weir slots, drip trays and more.
